4A National convened a National Council face to face meeting on September 9th to discuss major issues as they relate to the upcoming merger with SBC and readout on the status of 2005 key initiatives. On that evening, National Council members attended the Corporate Asian American Employee Network (CAAEN) networking event at the Intel location in Santa Clara. CAAEN is a consortium of the employee affinity groups from 18 major corporations including Intel, HP, Kaiser Permanante, SBC, Wells Fargo, to name a few. 4A National Council members had the opportunity to network with CAAEN corporate members to discuss a number of relevant issues and exchange views faced by employee networking groups such as 4A.
